Crisis caught Rhein-Sieg-Kreis

Rhein-Sieg-Kreis - rush of customers at the employment agency, empty factory buildings in many industrial enterprises in the region.
The economic crisis has arrived in the Rhine-Sieg-Kreis. Some communities reported nearly 40 percent more "Neuarbeitslose. Above all industries are affected.
The hardest it has caught Troisdorf: Here recorded by the Agency for work in this March 37.3 percent more than in recipients of unemployment I-March 2008. But Windeck (35.1 percent), Eitorf (26.2 percent), Siegburg (22.2 percent) and St. Augustine (21.9 percent recorded) dramatically increases. By contrast, the increase in Bonn (8.8 percent) affects almost harmless.
"Above all, companies in the automotive industry, suppliers, machine manufacturers and carriers are affected by the economic crisis," said Paul Moser, spokesman of the Bonn Employment Agency: "In March alone, some 200 companies for nearly 5,000 short-staff displayed."
Most of them are in the right bank of the Rhine-Sieg-Kreis concentrated. Even really successful companies such as Mannstaedt, the world's leading manufacturer of hot rolled special profiles, come to a roll: Since January is kurzgearbeitet. And in the summer, the production makes in Troisdorf several weeks of rest to save costs.
The sales problems have consequences for the employees. After last year had to go already 100 temporary employees, negotiations are currently on the elimination of 200 other places.
Should not improve the economic situation, experts fear that the crisis on the service sector strikes through the service. Many elderly people are as full of sadness to think of the 60s: in 1969 the unemployment rate in the region at 0.3 percent.
